Community Kitchen

Conway Workshop invites you to join us in our Community Kitchen.

  • Studies show that Community Kitchens have a positive impact on social networks, education & personal health practices
  • Community Kitchens increase food security by increasing physical and economic access to adequate amounts of nutritious foods.

Learn how to fuel your body with Optimal Nutrition on a budget, in a fun community focused environment.

We host nutritious group cooking sessions on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.

Meals are subsidized to keep the cost to you at $5 per mouth, per meal. (e.g. Take home one meal it will cost you $5. Take home five meals and it will cost $25)

Bring your apron, a sense of humor and a take-away container for the meals you will be taking home.

NOTE: Meals can be ordered for those who cannot physically make it to our cooking sessions.

Additional advanced workshops will be offered for a non-subsidized fee from $5 up to $30 per night.

These will include:

  • Meal Planning
  • Optimal Nutrition on a Budget
  • Make your Own Edible Arrangement (Fruit and Veggie editions)
  • Introduction to Plant-based Proteins: Seitan, Tofu, Tempeh
  • Successful Gluten-Free Meals
  • How to Optimize Existing Recipes
  • Couponing in the Digital Age
  • The Secret to Successful Green Smoothies

We look forward to hearing what you would like to learn.

See you in class!
