Our Purpose
CWA exists to empower individuals with diverse abilities to live full, meaningful, and self-directed lives.
We strive to achieve this by creating community, providing opportunities to acquire life and job skills, and fostering entrepreneurship.
Our Initiatives
CWA operates a mix of residential and vocational programs and social enterprises.
Digby Small Option Homes Our residential program provides more than just a place to live. We empower individuals to become the best version of themselves every day – building confidence, independence, and the skills to shape their own lives. Through person-centered support, we create opportunities for choice, growth, and meaningful community connection, ensuring each individual can live with dignity, purpose, and a true sense of belonging.
The Digby Bargain Bin 125 First Avenue Monday-Saturday 9:30-4:00 The Bargain Bin is more than just a store – it’s a place built on teamwork, pride, and connection. Everything we do is with our community in mind. The amazing staff, volunteers, and participants who run the Digby Bargain Bin take great pride in what they do and their dedication shines through in every part of the store. We’ve made some meaningful changes to better serve our community. Our shoe boutique and appliance department have become especially popular! We look forward to seeing you and sharing what makes this place so special.
Conway Workshop From humble roots, Conway Workshop has grown into a dynamic environment where participants develop vocational and life skills across a range of abilities and interests. We work with our participants to build meaningful skills that support independence, employment readiness, and social connection. Through hands-on experience, we create a safe and respectful space where dignity, teamwork, and empowerment are at the core. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to expanding the support we offer our participants and our broader community.
